We need to figure a way to spread the gospel of Hockeybuzz throughout Winnipeg. |

Peter Tessier: Crash Landing: Jets Lose & Kessel Rejoices
It took just 55 seconds in the third period but the Jets found another way to lose a game in which they had a lead. - Peter.Tessier
Off the top of my head, I would say that a lineup featuring Poni, Antropov and Wellwood is trouble.
Trust me. |

They should trade for Stajan as well...then Jets fans really throw up in their mouths. |

This is so true. All 3 were not good enough for the horrific Leafs, and that was when they were years younger. |

Antropov and Ponikerovsky is not a recipe for success for ANY team..... Don't ask me how I know this...... it's just a feeling |

Ladd will become our Horcoff by the end of his deal. He's not suited to play the top 2 lines, but because he's paid big money, and has a C on his chest, he'll continue to try and be shoehorned into that role. He's an ideal 3rd liner with some offensive pop. Of course, I'm one of those guys who thinks the top 6 should be...

It feels like we don't have nearly as big a presence on here with Jets fans...all the poop that goes on between Canucks, Leafs, and Oilers fans...that could involve Jets fans as well!!!!! |

How's Wright looking so far? I know he's playing 4th line but was wondering if he was worth picking up from the waivers... |

I have been pleasantly surprised with him. Not a bad pick up at all |

Byfuglien should absolutely be playing forward. Playing him on D is a waste. |

This is being debated. Buff was second leading scorer for defense in the NHL last year |

Your read my mind. The twin pylons and the donut boy!
Sundin was the only one that could make those two look any good. Sorry Winterpeg. You need your stars back.
Hey, why don't you call Vancouver and try and unload the pylons for Bobby Lou! That'd be a laff. |

But defensively he blows, and if he played top six wing and the front of the net on the PP he'd score even more than he does from the blue line. You don't get extra points for scoring as a D-man do you? I'd rather have him score 35 from the wing than 15 from the back end. It'd be one thing if he was a good D-man who scores, but in reality he's just a sub par D-man with a booming point shot. |
